Natural & Documentary Wedding Photography

Deer Park Country House Wedding Photograohy - Jo and Jez.jpg

I am an award-winning wedding photographer based in London, photographing weddings all over the UK, Europe and Internationally. My aim is to deliver the most interesting and relaxed photographs that you could wish for from your special day.

My documentary wedding photography is non-intrusive and I always aim to discreetly capture images full of fun and emotion.

I approach weddings from the guests point of view; observing and capturing the emotion, the unseen moments, the unique atmosphere and the natural you. Whilst I will still take a few portraits during the day, these are unposed, giving you a result which is very natural and relaxed.

A few kind words from previous clients...

Rob is a fantastic photographer who doesn’t pressurise you in any way. All the photos were very natural and relaxed, capturing your special day in a very authentic way. Rob makes you feel incredibly comfortable and at ease with the pre-wedding photo shoot and of course on the day itself. Additionally, Rob really listens to what you want and the aftercare and photos themselves were a spectacular quality. A very big thumbs up from us!
— Lyndsey & Chris
Robin was a great wedding photographer, who my husband and I will always recommend to future brides and grooms! From the first contact we had with him, to the contact we have had since, Rob has been personable, open to our ideas and the quality of his work speaks for itself. As a couple who didn’t want very ‘staged’ photos, we feel that Rob captured every part of our wedding day and kept us and our guests feeling comfortable throughout - the pre-wedding shoot was fabulous also!
— Amy & Mike
We organised an extremely complex wedding which involved a theatre, actors, flashmobs, owls, a butterfly farm, boats, a circus wheel, costumes, jousting, falcons as well as the ceremony, banquet and band. Rob caught it all on camera beautifully, not one detail was missed - and he joined us at the dinner table. For someone to perfectly capture the unusual moods of the day exactly as we remember it, I have to say that is an exceptional skill. We want to employ him to frame the rest of our lives.
— Emma & Gary
Rob was what we were looking for in a photographer. We needed staged group shots, but what we really wanted was someone who could take natural shots and be unobtrusive, and we were very happy with Rob’s results. Rob was professional and happy to answer any questions and requests we had and so we would definitely recommend him.
— Jaqlyn & Jonathan
I’m so delighted with our wedding photos, Rob caught the spirit of the day from beginning to end. He was a friendly but unitrusive presence in our day, effortlessly capturing beautiful moments. The few group photos I requested still felt fun and had an air of spontaneity about them. Rob perfectly understood what we wanted from our big day, going through our album felt like reliving the day. Rob was easy to work with, respectful in church, quick to reply, professional and offered helpful advice.
— Kayleigh & Tom
Robin was absolutely fantastic, from when we first met, to our pre shoot, to really understanding us, what we we wanted and getting us comfortable with having our photos done. On the day you wouldn’t even have known he was there. The guests felt comfortable and the end results are memories we will keep forever. We had heard so many horror stories when it comes to wedding photos but I can honestly say we are over the moon with what Robin did and he made our day stressless and perfect.
— Rachel & Paul
Rob is a fantastic photographer, who definitely knows his wedding photography. His eye for different photo locations is great and he has a very calming manner which is great for getting relaxed photos on a stressful day. The best element of robs wedding photography is his ability to move around the wedding taking photos without people realising, and getting some great, natural shots. This is where he stands out from other photographers.
