Kate and Lee were lucky to celebrate their wedding day in Surrey at the beautiful Woldingham School in Marden Park on the first sunny Saturday in June. There were a few Hogwarts jokes on the day, but this gorgeous school is a stunning place for a wedding and is one of my favourite wedding venues. It’s not too far from London and in fact, Kate and Lee and lots of their friends had travelled from Essex (and all over the world!) for the occasion.

One of the oldest girls' schools in Britain, with a history spanning over 170 years, Woldingham School is set in a gorgeous mansion house with striking architecture. Over 700 acres of grounds at Marden Park make this wedding venue feel very secluded and the perfect place to shoot some stunning wedding photographs. I particularly love the pergola walkway!

Kate arrived in style in a gorgeous ivory and black vintage Badsworth Landaulette and the couple said their vows together in the schools romantic and intimate chapel. The mansion with its elegant facade and classic stone staircase was a great backdrop for photography after the ceremony. After the wedding breakfast and some fantastic, tear jerking speeches by the groom, father of the bride and best man, Kate and Lee surprised their guests with a Mariachi band. A truly unexpected addition to an English wedding and everyone absolutely loved it. It certainly got the party started.

Kate and Lee met each other while backpacking in Australia a few years ago and decorating their wedding cake were two little backpackers made from Lego. It was a very cute touch indeed. Kate and Lee are one of life’s loveliest couples and their big day was spent in a stunning setting, surrounded by their likeminded, fun friends and family who ensured that the good times and hijinks didn’t stop all day and continued well into the night.
